ANOTHER ROAD TO PAIN RELIEF – WITHOUT OPIOIDS
NOVABLOC™ is a non-opioid therapy that is being studied for targeted, long-lasting postoperative pain relief through a novel electrical stimulation paradigm. It is anticipated that the study may show a reduction in opioid use post-procedure.¹
NOVABLOC™ is currently undergoing a randomized controlled trial in the US. Pilot studies have demonstrated continuous pain reduction lasting up to 20 days of continuous postoperative pain relief following knee replacement surgery — with limited use of opioids and without impairing motor function¹. These pilot studies were non-randomized, single-arm investigations, and additional data from the ongoing randomized trial will further clarify NOVABLOC™’s clinical performance.

Synaptrix is committed to advancing science in postsurgical pain management through novel neuromodulation technologies. Our goal is to drive future clinical innovation that may reduce reliance on opioid medications and deliver better perioperative care. Synaptrix aims to expand its NOVABLOC™ technology platform across a range of clinical applications, shaping the future of opioid-free recovery and contributing to a broader transformation in perioperative care.
